Tour 1: Half Day Tour of Limassol Old Town

Limassol is situated between the two most important ancient City-Kingdoms. Amathus on the east and Curium on the west. The name Limassol (Lemesos - in Greek) derived from the Greek word "Ne mesos" (in between) seems to point this location between the two famous ancient cities. Continue to the old town of Limassol where you will have the chance to visit the Limassol Mediaeval Fort built in the 14th century on the site of an earlier Byzantine castle. It is here that according to tradition, Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre and crowned her Queen of England. Inside the castle is the Cyprus Medieval Museum. Free time will be given for shopping to Limassol old Market where you can do some shopping at one of the many souvenir stores, visit some of the Pottery Workshops and Art Galleries.

Tour 2: Full Day Tour of Kourion & Paphos

Discover the legends and history of one of the most beautiful areas in Cyprus. Our first stop is at the ancient city of Kourion, an impressive, unspoiled site perched high on the cliff top. Admire the famous Greco-Roman theatre and mosaics, and enjoy the dazzling view. Our next stop will be at Aphrodite's Rock, where according to legend the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born from the foam of the sea. Your journey continues to Paphos where you will discover one of the most beautiful places on the island. Paphos, with its pleasant harbor and Medieval Fort, combines a cosmopolitan holiday resort, spectacular countryside and historical sites. It was the capital of Cyprus for 600 years in ancient times and its archaeological legacy is such that UNESCO put the whole town on its World Cultural Heritage List. After your tour leads to the House of Dionysos to see the breathtaking mosaics unearthed during the excavation of a 3rd century A.D, roman nobleman’s villa. The mosaics depict roman legends with scenes from Greek mythology and are considered to be the finest in the region. Free time to stroll around the picturesque Paphos Harbor. Back to Limassol hotel.
